About Spark Vista SolutionsA digital solutions firm organised around accountability.
We work with startups, SMEs and established organisations that need their digital platform treated as business infrastructure — planned properly, built to standard, and supported after launch.
A technology partner, not a website vendor.
Spark Vista Solutions plans, designs, builds, automates, secures and supports digital systems for organisations that depend on them commercially. We work across websites, online stores, custom applications and the integrations that connect them.
Our work is deliberately unglamorous in places: scoping documents, architecture decisions, test results, handover guides. Those are the parts that determine whether a platform is still serving you in three years, or quietly costing you money.
We are comfortable saying when a smaller piece of work would serve you better, and when we are not the right firm for a project.

The problems clients usually bring us
Most engagements begin with a business problem rather than a technical specification.
“Our site does not reflect the business”
The company has moved on; the website has not. Positioning is unclear, the structure has grown organically, and prospects cannot quickly tell what you do or who you do it for.
“We get traffic but few enquiries”
Visitors arrive and leave. Conversion pathways are unclear, forms ask the wrong questions, and there is no reliable measurement of where people drop out.
“Our store cannot handle our range”
A catalogue built for thirty products is now carrying hundreds. Filtering is unusable, the checkout leaks orders, and stock and accounting no longer reconcile.
“We run the business on spreadsheets”
Critical processes live in files and inboxes. Data is re-entered repeatedly, there is no single source of truth, and nobody wants to be the person who breaks the workbook.
“Nobody is maintaining it”
The site was built, the developer moved on, and updates stopped. Performance has degraded, plugins are outdated and there is no verified backup.
“The last project went wrong”
Scope drifted, deadlines slipped and the handover never happened. You need an independent assessment and a realistic route forward.
Four principles we put in writing
Each of these appears as a term in the engagements we sign, not merely as a statement on this page.
Scope before build
Nothing is built until deliverables, revisions, assumptions and dates are agreed in a document you have approved. Ambiguity is where projects fail.
Measured, not asserted
Performance, accessibility and responsive targets are set at planning and verified before launch. If a build misses them, we correct it at our cost.
No lock-in
Code, hosting, domains and third-party accounts are in your name from day one. If you move on, we hand over everything documented, free of charge.
Honest limits
We do not guarantee search rankings or absolute security, because no supplier can. We commit to the standards and disciplines that make good outcomes likely.
Seven stages, each with a sign-off point
You always know which stage the project is in, what is required from you, and what is produced at the end of it.

Standards we hold every build to
Semantic, accessible markup
Correct landmarks and heading order, keyboard operability and visible focus — not bolted on afterwards.
Performance as a budget
Asset weight and third-party scripts are constrained from the start rather than optimised at the end.
Maintainable structure
Design tokens, consistent naming and documented patterns, so changes stay cheap over time.
Least-privilege access
Accounts scoped to what each role needs, reviewed at handover and revoked when work ends.
Tested before applied
Updates and releases go through staging first on every plan that includes it.
Documented decisions
Platform and architecture choices are written down with their reasoning, so they can be revisited.
Boring technology, applied well
We favour proven, well-supported tools over novelty. The interesting part of a project should be the business problem, not an experimental stack you cannot hire for.
A short conversation is usually enough to know if we are the right firm.
Bring your objectives, your constraints and any history with previous suppliers. We will be direct about what we would do, what it would cost, and whether we are the best people to do it.
